some 8 miles north of Carlisle, Braids Caravan Park is open all year round.

If visiting Gretna, Gretna Green or are looking to explore Dumfries & Galloway in South Scotland. Braids Caravan Park provides the ideal base to discover the many interesting features of the area.

Superb Facilities
Braids Caravan Park is a full facility park offering hardstanding or grass pitches. We welcome Rallies and as active caravanners will do our utmost to ensure your visit is a success.

Clean and well appointed toilet & showers including disabled toilet available on site.

We have a high level of security with a barrier operated one way system. On arrival you will be charged a £5 refundable deposit (unless you break your swipe card or lose the toilet key)

Excellent laundry facilities with automatic washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities are open from 7.00am to 9.00pm every day.

On 6th August 2006 Braids Caravan Park in Gretna celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Mrs Gilhooley who opened the caravan park with her late husband on 6th August 1956 returned to Braids to take part in the celebrations.
