Galloway Kite Trail
Why not visit the Red Kite Trail while you are at Braids Caravan Park.  The trail is 24 miles long approximately and is situated between Castle Douglas (about 43 miles from us) and New Galloway (A713).  For directions to Castle Douglas ask any member of our staff who will be only too pleased to help you.

Pets
Braids Caravan Park welcome you to bring along your pets, but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Note: There is no dog walk on the site. Please contact us for further information.

Information Centre
Situated next to our Reception and is packed full of information on Dumfries & Galloway and Cumbria.

As residents, John and Isabel know the area extremely well and can make suggestions for a great day out in the Gretna area.

Beautiful Grounds
The well maintained grounds at Braids Caravan Park in Gretna is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing break.

The site and the gardens provide great habitat for a wide variety of wildlife & birds. Finches, Robins, Bluetits, Siskins, Yellow Hammers, Doves and Pigeons to name but a few.

Waste disposal points are discreetly positioned around the park. Glass recycling service on site!
